Nose: Cherry toaster strudel, peanut shell, peanut brittle; muted and subtle — doesn't draw you in immediately; powdered sugar and vanilla cream with maple candy and glazed donuts
Finish: Cloves, oak, some spice and earthiness; dry and spice notes with flash of dried dark fruits; medium and slightly muted — the weak link versus the excellent nose and palate
Palate: Earthy and nutty; vanilla cream, baking spices, cinnamon powder and dried cherries taking turns; flavors burst forward into intriguing territory; predominantly Kentucky bourbon with 10% Georgia and 2% Tennessee
