Tasting notes
Nose: Deeply sweet and dessert-like; concentrated caramel, brown sugar, vanilla, baking spice; exceptional maturity on the nose; Colorado altitude concentration amplifies everything
Finish: Exceptionally long; caramel, brown sugar, vanilla, subtle wood spice; '20yr light whiskey' style sophistication without the harshness found in slightly younger releases
Palate: Intense sweetness from the 99/1 corn mash; caramel, toffee, vanilla; the double-oaked treatment (re-cask in used bourbon barrel) adds complexity without astringency; lingering warmth at 143.5pf
