Finish: Red fruit and dates remain with toasted notes reasserting; lots of red fruit, touch of lumberyard, cocoa powder; long lingering spice note; medium length drying with French oak character from double toast, spice rack, high vanilla, Rioja and charred barrel staves

Palate: Rye and red fruits hit first with peppery sensation; berries, spice, and dry oak; brown butter bordering on butterscotch with slightly syrupy sweetness; tobacco, cinnamon, applesauce; French oak-like perfume, nutmeg, stewed dates; flavors keep evolving with each sip
